Terms of Service

Welcome to WeTwo ("the App", "we", "our", "us"). WeTwo is a financial planning platform designed to help couples manage their finances together. The platform provides tools to track financial activity, organise expenses, monitor bills, plan for shared goals, and gain a clearer understanding of overall financial status.
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please also review our separate Privacy Policy, which explains in detail how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information.
1. Definitions
- "User," "you," or "your" refers to any individual who creates an account or uses the App.
- "Partner" refers to another User with whom you have established a linked couple relationship within the App.
- "Shared Data" refers to financial goals, transactions, budgets, and other information designated as shared between you and your linked Partner.
- "Services" refers to all features and functionality provided through the App.
2. Eligibility
To use WeTwo, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older. We absolutely do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to create an account or use our Services.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Children: The App is strictly not for children. We do not permit children to sign into the app, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at team@wetwo.tech so we can delete that information immediately.
3. Account Registration and Authentication
3.1 Account Creation
You may create an account using Email/OTP, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
3.2 Account Security
The App offers optional security features (App Lock/Passcode and Biometric Authorization). Biometric data is processed on-device and is never accessed or stored by us. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Description of Services
WeTwo provides transaction tracking, automated extraction via SMS (Android only) and Bank Statements, smart categorization, budgeting, savings goals (SIPs), and investment tracking.
4.1 Pricing and Refunds
Pricing: The WeTwo app is currently offered free of charge. We do not sell any digital goods, subscriptions, or other paid features through the App at this time. Consequently, no refunds are applicable. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, subject to updated terms. Any future paid features will be processed through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date.
5. Partner Linking (Couples Mode)
- Consent: Both parties must explicitly consent to establish a link.
- Dissolution: Either party may dissolve the link at any time; the other partner is notified immediately. Dissolution prevents future sharing but does not delete historical shared data. Any pending consent requests between partners will be automatically cancelled upon dissolution of the partner link.
- Visibility: You control which categories of personal data (transactions, goals, bills, reports, investments) are visible to your Partner through granular permissions.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' accounts, or our systems.
- Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content.
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another User, including your Partner. We take reports of financial abuse or coercive control seriously. If you believe the App is being used to monitor or control you without your consent, contact us immediately at team@wetwo.tech.
- Objectionable Content: You may not upload or share any content that is offensive, pornographic, hateful, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove such content and terminate accounts at our sole discretion.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App including its design, code, algorithms, smart categorization models, UI, graphics, and documentation are owned by WeTwo and its licensors. You retain ownership of your personal financial data but grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide the Services.
8. AI and Automated Features
8.1 AI-Powered Processing
Bank statements are processed using AI (Google Gemini). AI extraction may occasionally produce errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all imported transactions. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. By uploading a bank statement, you consent to its processing by our AI service provider for the sole purpose of extracting transaction data.
8.2 Smart Categorization
The App uses heuristic and machine learning models to categorize transactions. These may not always be accurate, and you can override them at any time.
8.3 No Financial Advice
WeTwo is a tracking and management tool. We do not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. Insights provided are for informational purposes only.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with Supabase (Database/Auth), Google Gemini (AI), Airbridge (Analytics), and WhatsApp (Invites). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
10. Account Termination
10.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time via App Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers within 30 days. You may request an export of your personal data by contacting team@wetwo.tech before initiating account deletion.
10.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other Users or the integrity of the Service.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
11.1 "As Is" Service
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.
11.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeTwo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App. We are not liable for financial losses, missed payments, or incorrect investment decisions based on App data. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Application Store Specific Terms
WeTwo acknowledges that this agreement is between you and WeTwo only, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
- Maintenance: WeTwo is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services.
- Warranty: Apple and Google have no warranty obligations whatsoever with respect to the App.
- Export Control: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting."
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
13.2 Dispute Resolution
- Informal Resolution: You agree to first contact team@wetwo.tech to resolve any disputes informally.
- Arbitration: If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, India.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
